Wear glasses? Try Koali frames

I'm starting back to my two days off a week back again. So that I can get back to devoting more time to my personal creative endeavors. However, I will round out this week with these tres chic glasses that I discovered from the blog Suffix Abuse. They're glasses by Morel, a family-owned company in France that creates design driven glasses frames. Morel creates a line of frames called Koali, which are inspired by nature—some from plants, some from flowers, and others from sea life. These are really cute, and I'm sure not many people have them, which makes them all the more desirable. Check out the inspiration to the left of the frames. Enjoy, and have a great weekend!

Simple Pleasures

Mmmm...Nothing beats hot chocolate on a cold winter's day! This picture is from Real Simple's photo galleries. Take some time to enjoy the pleasures of winter. It will be gone before you know it. Take pictures of the snow falling. It's quite magical to reminisce those winter moments. Plus, they make excellent holiday cards. :o)

Since I will not be posting on Thursday and Fridays (although I have been posting on Thursdays for the past couple of weeks), I've created a new category called Thursday-Friday treats so that you can refer to these sites in the future as well. 1. Did anyone use to spray body spray or perfume on their stationery when you were a kid? I did, and the idea must have rang true for The Soap and Paper Factory. This New York factory creates scented stationery and draw papers as well as soap, candles, and other paper goodies that are natural and green friendly.

2. Want to learn a little background about the history of African-American fashion? Pepsi has created a web-site called Pepsi Black in Style that traces the history from the 1920s to current day.

3. If you like soul and house music, then check out Imaani, a neo-soul artist from the UK.

4. I've mentioned it before, but I think it's the perfect book for Valentine's Day: A Love No Less.
